Unable to delete a board from Jira due to Active Sprint

Hi,

I have created another board for an existing project; Since these are duplicate boards for a single project want to delete the one I created.

However when I go to delete the board (duplicate), it displays an Active Sprint and does not allow me to do the delete.

Any solution for this?

Thank you for the suggestion Nic. Used the second option and was able to delete it after moving it to another filter.

You could wait until the sprint has closed and then kill the duplicate, but I would try a different approach first.  Change the board filter so that it no longer includes any of the issues in the active sprint, then delete it.

The third option, possibly the cleanest one is to instead of deleting the original with the sprint in it, reconfigure it so it does what the "new" board does instead.  Then delete the new board.
