I try to close my team's support requests. I click on 'Close Issue', fill in the reason but when I try to close it gives an error in red 'Component is required'. The Component field in the ticket is None and it cannot be edited. How can I close a Support Request ticket?
Check and see if you have any components for the project. If not, as a test add one and then see if you can close an issue. Also, if you don’t need/want the component field to be required at closure, check the workflow for a validator - field required and remove it.
Thank you! apparently adding a component to the project does the job. If I want to do it without the component I need to talk to an admin.
