Unable to add Status column to the filter

I want to add Status column to the filter. But when I type Status, I get partial list of options (Adoption Status, Analysis Status.... down to Issue Comment Status) and then message 49 more results are available, continue typing.

I just need "Status" and I cannot get to it. Please help.

Ah, you have "fielditis" and you are in need of your admins simplifying your system back to something useful!

The only way to fix this for a standard user is to reset the filter layout to the default.  That includes the standard Status, so you can then add your other fields back to it.  (This is hoping your administrators have not made a mess of that too)
