Two instances of JIRA using one domain name?

We have two instances of JIRA. Is it possible to use one domain name for both and authenticate/redirect users through CROWD based on the user groups jira1_users and jira2_users?

Dear @ice color,

sure you can!

https://jira1:443/

https://jira2:444/

I strongly recommend using in front of a proxy.

And most important: You have to change of one of the instances the session name. By default it is JSESSIONID. Rename it to something different - otherwise you will have problems in login in both instances simultaneous from one browser.

Connecting to crowd should be no problem.

So long

Thomas
