Two boards need to merge to one

The 2 boards were set up: Public and Secure Sites.  I need to get this into one board and use the filters to distinguish teams and epics etc instead.  Then I can report to the client on the whole progress in one.

What is the best approach?  I'm fairly new to Jira.  

Can someone also help me to set up TEAM on JIRA - I need a step by step instruction.

Hi Claire

A board is generally just a collection of issues dictated by the board filter (a JQL query). So if you have 2 boards that you want to combine, what you need to do is "merge" the 2 filters - for anyone in the Community to help you with that, you're going to need to give us the 2 JQLs. Otherwise, you or someone in your company can do it, if you're comfortable with it.
