Trying to link Confluence OnDemand and JIRA OnDemand

Adam January 21, 2013

Hi folks - we've been using JIRA OnDemand for some time now and we are interested in Confluence OnDemand. Naturally we'd like to link the two of them.

I have been able to create the application link on the Confluence side: http://d.pr/i/hWiJ and when I follow the instructions on https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Adding+Project+Links+between+Applications to "To link a Confluence space to a project in another application" I get this error: http://d.pr/i/4rHB when I try to an application link in the Confluence Space admin section: http://d.pr/i/qojh

Are your Confluence and JIRA on different accounts? and different URLs? Ideally, you can just go to your account in my.atlassian.com, and under your Atlassian OnDemand product click on Configure so you can add more applications to your instance without the need of going through all this hassle.

All the best mate.

I was able to add the confluence evaluation to the existing my.atlassian.com account.

JIRA: https://digmydata.jira.com/

Confluence: https://digmydata.atlassian.net/

Did I do something wrong?

I think you added it as a different product. You just need to add it as an extra application to your existing apps, check out number 10 http://www.atlassian.com/licensing/ondemand#evaluatingatlassianondemand-9
