Track a Story and where and where it has not been Deployed

Michael Lee January 9, 2018

I work in an environment where Stories typically go through Backlog, InDevelopment, InQA, Done. However, we also have a zillion other environments that need the deployment as some time in the future. And the owner(s) of these environments control the deployment to their environment(s). So, need a way to keep track of each environment where the story has been and has not been deployed. Anyone have any bright ideas on how to configure Jira to keep track of these deployments?

@Michael Lee, have you thought about using sub-tasks or linked issues to specifically track the deployment in each environment?

Those ideas are on the table. Although, creating sub-tasks or creating linked issues would be a time-consuming and could lead to inaccurate results if not done perfectly ...

Thanks for your ideas ... appreciate it ...
