Is there any way of automaticaly tracking time worked on an issue just with the workflow state?

Ex: I would like that time starts counting (logging) whin one of my users activates the workflow state to In progress and that it would stop counting when the state is then changed to to be continued or completed or else!

is it something tha Jira can do

I guess you'll have to look at some add-ons to cover this.

eg Tempo has a feature that adds timetracking through some actions, not directly linked to the workflow

It would be nice tough to be able to use a Jira Plug in ..... like the one they have for the Server version but for Cloud!

They do offer a tempo cloud plugin, but I don't know what features are included:
