Ticket moved to different status

Hi Experts , 

We have notice one issue , all tickets assigned to Done status moved to cancelled .Across the project .

I have noticed below traces in Audit log during same time stamp related to status change  . 


Changed object typeOperation details
STATUS[Name] was changed from [XXXX] to [Done]
STATUS[Name] was changed from [Cancelled] to [XXXX]

Can anyone suggest if above logs could lead to this issue?

Also , not sure how Random status was changed to "Done" as normally i have seen Jira do not allow you to rename status to any existing status and if you do so it will throw this error :

A status with that name already exists, please enter a different name.

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

The log indicate that someone changed the name of the Done status to Cancelled. If you are a Jira admin you have the permissions to rename statuses, but you need to be very careful since a rename will affect all workflows using that status.
