The operator !~ is not supported by the text field

In JIRA when try to search a text it works fine with the below:

eg: Issuetype in (task, Sub-task) and text ~ Bug

 

But doesnt work with the below:

Issuetype in (task, Sub-task) and text !~ Bug

Yes, it doesn't work, the operator is invalid.

Negating fuzzy searches is generally not that useful.  You could try ... and not (text ~ Bug) instead, although I suspect you won't get the results you expect.
