The JIRA server was contacted but has returned an error response. We are unsure of the result of this operation.

When accessing the workflow page here:

https://xxx.atlassian.net/plugins/servlet/project-config/HC/workflows

I get an error:
The JIRA server was contacted but has returned an error response. We are unsure of the result of this operation.

We have a hosting plan so i dont have access to the logs or is there a way to get at them in the logs. I can create a workflow but this is the page that allows me to pick which workflow should be used so right now i can only create an inactive workflow but cant make it active. Ive tried googling but havent found anything that helps as its a very general error, if there was a more technical error i might be able to narrow it down and try some stuff. Indexing didnt help and i can successfully access the same page for a different project so i think its specific to the current project.

If there is any additional information you need please let me know

Take a look in Support Tools - you can use them to scan your log files for errors.

There is also https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.javahollic.log-tailer-jiraon the marketplace (I haven't used it).

You have to get the logs from where you have hosted it or contact the hosting company (onDemand?). It should be an error with one of the plugin components used in your workflows.
