Hello I'm searching for issues and don't understand why the results are different.
The Summary field is filled with an "identifier" TYPE DWW_ZUHH_2013", all and manually check are exact.
The result differes whether I search "summary ~ "DWW_*" " or "summary ~ "DWW*" " or "summary ~ "DWW" ".
Jira Version 5.2.11 used. Could not find any suitable explanation.
Hi Jan-Christian,
It probably has something to do with you fuzzy search works :

I would advise you to use the ~"DWW*" search because this seems to have resulted in the correct amount of issues.
Best regards,
Peter
Hi Peter
The results differ in the number of found issues. And quite substancial:
"DWW*" = 30 Issues
"DWW_*" = 23 Issues
"DWW_" = 7 Issues
"DRW" = 7 Issues
seems to be an issue with the "_" but you can't escape it.

Hi Jan-Christian,
How exactly do the results differ?
How many results do you get in each search?
Best regards,
Peter
