We would like to try the Jira Service Desk to have a closer look and feel what we can use this addon for.
If we test and play around with it a bit and then decide to not buy it, is there any risk to corrupt or crash anything within Jira?
None of the default JIRA functionality should be affected. You might see some data in the database which are not used anymore, like data in AO tables. I can't think of anything else that might impact the core JIRA. Atlassian can confirm ;)
