Temporary access to view projects in Jira

Is it possible to give to user or to group of users temporary access to view projects in Jira, and then at a certain time automatically deny them access?

By default, no. And there doesn't seem to be any plugin that can easily help either.

Best I can think of is to grant them permissions manually then use Script Runner to create a service that will revoke the permissions at a specified time (+/- the delay of the service).
