Tempo reviewer email notifications don't work

Hi, the email notifications for planing time in tempo timesheet do not work, reviewers don't receive any emails. I tried changing every setting concerning that, it just does not work (although the activity stream gadget still shows that a user requested approval). I'm sure it worked a month/two months ago or so, but it stopped at some point.
