Tempo - How do you give someone access to view a Team's weekly timesheet but NOT be an approver?

Daniel Puyau July 9, 2014

If a user is listed as a team leader they are automatically added as an approver. Logical. But we would like to grant certain users (analysts, management, etc) the ability to view ALL Teams' weekly timesheets, but NOT have the approval/reject permission. Is there a way to give someone this ability or is being a team leader the only way to get access to view a Team's timesheet?

NOTE: I am aware that you could in theory make these users Tempo Project Managers at the project level, but that doesn't give them access to the team timesheet view. Just the ability to see the total Project hours in timesheet view which doesn't narrow it down to just the team's hours associated to the project.

Hi Daniel,

this is not possible in the current version of Tempo Timesheets, but we are working on Improvements in the Tempo Permissions and are discussing a "View only" permission.

As a workaround, If you are using the Tempo Team Custom field, you can create a filter based on this Field and view this filter in the Advanced Timesheet.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,

Susanne
