One of our users just pointed out an interesting item where if you go to submit your timesheet for approval and inadvertently click submit before selecting a supervisor, you have no idea who it was submitted to, to have them reject it so you can assign it to your correct manager.
Steps to reproduce:
The timesheet is submitted for approval but you have no idea WHERE it went. Any idea where these are routed to? Is there a setting somewhere that I am missing that prevents users from submitting time for approval without having a manager selected?
if no supervisor is chosen, everyone who is Team lead or has the "Approve Timesheet" permission for the user (has access to the Timesheets of the user) will be able to approve/ reject the timesheet.
For each of them the cogweel with the Approve/ Reject timesheet is available in the Team and User timesheet. They can also Approve the timesheet from the Timesheet Approval Report (https://tempoplugin.jira.com/wiki/display/TEMPO079/Timesheet+Approval+Reports).
You can also ask your users to set a default supervisor in the User Preferences (https://tempoplugin.jira.com/wiki/display/TEMPO079/User+Preferences) so they do not need to set this field every time they submit a timesheet.
Hope this helps.
