Team Managed Project - set limit for user who can change the status

In Team Managed Project, I want to set a limit for users who can transition task from one stage to another.

Hi @Kshamta Pareek , thanks for your question.

The simplest method to achieve this outcome would be to set the people you don't want modifying the issues to have 'viewers' access to this project, as opposed to members or admins.

There is the possibility in team-managed projects to modify the workflow to set up 'Rules' which should be similar to the advanced workflow functions you can get in a company-managed project, to have conditions or validators.

A friendly warning for this though - please consider the skills and experience of who is managing this project when you evaluate this as a possible solution. There is a risk to overengineer a solution here, if the objective is to work in a way that only a core group of people can modify and work on the issues in this project, I would suggest that those people should be the Members and anyone else involved as a stakeholder can be set as a viewer.
