I am trying out the JIRA Agile functionality, and cannot figure out whether it is possible to estimate the time on a Task in the backlog. I can see that for a User Story there is an "Estimate" field, but it is missing for "Tasks". Any pointers?
Woops just answered my own comment. In the configuration if I change Estimation to "Original Time Estimate" rather than "Story Points", I can now see the Estimate option on tasks as well. This is very un-intuitive. The unit of measuring progress should not dictate whether or not a field is visible in an Issue!
