After some month working propertly we see that our jira installation is not syncronizing with the active directory. We don't know what's happening.
We get nexte error: "Error de sincronización. Vea los registros del servidor para obtener más detalles."
We´ve been experimenting this same issue.
The problem in our case was that the password of the user used to sync with AD was changed.
Updating this on the JIRA configuration with the JIRA local admin was the solution.
You'll need to do waht it says - read the Jira application log to see what the full error is. You may want to read the AD logs as well, to see why it's refusing access to Jira suddenly.
