Synchronise 2 instances of JIRA

Steve McFarlane October 19, 2017

I am working on a project that is using our 3rd Party service providers on premise Jira, which has the Zephyr plug in for test management. We have now learnt that the Zephyr support has expired and that the 3rd Party is not willing to pay for the ongoing licences as we are the only client using Zephyr.

We have our own version of Jira in the cloud and was wandering how easy it is to synchronise all of the issues types from our 3rd Party JIra to our own Jira in the cloud so that we can then purchase a much smaller number of Zephyr for Jira plug ins to continue using.

If sync is possible will this cater for any customisations made in the 3rd Party Jira that have not been applied in our own instance?

Thanks

Hello Steve,

for continuous synchronization you can use addons like Exalate or Backone.

For a one time migration: CSV Import of all your Issues.

Hope this will be helpful!
