Hi,
We want to migrate to from Jira Server to Jira Cloud, for our Medical Device softwares.
To do this migration we have to find a substitute to SynapseRT as this plug-in is not available on Jira Cloud.
Good points of SynapseRT:
- Test cases management (link to Requirements, Bugs, Test suites, Test plans)
- Test suites to group test cases and add a test suites in a test plan
- Requirements coverage (to find easily which requirements are not covered by test cases, are not tested yet)
- Traceability between Requirements/Tests/Bugs
- Edition of a Test case with link to Requirements, bugs, test suites, test plan
Do you have any idea of an equivalent plug-in of Synapse-RT for Jira Cloud version ?
Hi @[deleted] @Agnès DOS SANTOS
Inherently Jira is not structured to be a test case management solution. Even apps that use Jira to support testing process become complicated over time.
You can give AIO Tests a try. Its one of the simplest Jira-native Test Case Management solutions out there plus the license costs are very low. Here are some of the key features

Hi, I am surprise no one has answered this yet. It's been more than a couple of years.
The main solution that google comes up with today for Jira cloud and test management is Zephyr Scale. Even it seems to have too many warts plus large licence costs.
I am starting to believe with mature standards and a gated workflow process, any good test lead / architect with a clever Jira admin could configure Jira and Confluence in-house to do many of the core test management features.
