Switching server - Licensing

Hi

Our server is kind of outdated, but running Jira 7.7 and Stash. We also use the Service Desk.

However, we want to switch to a new (virtual) server, I am about to set up a new (Debian) server, and install MySQL on it and migrate the existing db.

My question is, what about the licensing? how do I get the new setup to work properly?

Also, will a simple migration work, as we use not only Jira, but Stash as well?

Thanks Community :)

Just use your existing license, it is not tied to a specific server.

As long as you follow the documentation on how to migrate to a new server you should be good. I have done it before without issues and we use both Jira and Bitbucket.
