Switching Workflow, How to Change Lost Statuses?

Hi All, I am going to be swapping out my current project workflow with a new one. I will be removing some statuses and adding some new statuses. Is there a way to make sure that all tickets with current-status-X (which I am getting rid of) automagically become status-Y (which I am adding)?

When you change workflows, Jira will prompt you to migrate the issues. During this process, you'll need to map any removed statuses to statuses that exist in the new workflow.
