Hello All, As we work on enhancing our project management processes, we’re looking for Jira plugins that can effectively support milestone /tracking in roadmaps/plans.

For Example, when an Epic has a duration of 30 days based on its target start and end, we want to establish milestones at the 15th and 25th days. This will help management review progress with relevant teams and make informed decisions if we’re falling behind schedule.

If you have any recommendations for Jira plugins that can facilitate this kind of milestone tracking and reporting, please share your insights. Your input will be valuable in helping us keep our projects on track.

Thank you!

hey @Kedareswar in Visor (the app I founded) you can create Jira integrated roadmaps with milestones.

Visor is free so give it a try and see if it does everything you need it to. If you have any questions or feedback send it our way via the feedback button in the app. Thanks

Hi @Kedareswar, welcome to the Atlassian Community!

If you are looking for a plugin that supports all-in-one solutions for project tracking in a visual timeline, you should try our plugin TeamBoard ProScheduler with the Gantt feature.

image (50).png

Here is what we support in Gantt View:

  • Set milestones
  • Create task dependencies (drag-and-drop functionality)
  • Auto-Scheduling
  • Set baselines
  • Highlight the critical path
  • Track progress (based on Jira fields and logged time)

Additionally, you can manage multiple projects simultaneously by using the Gantt Chart in a portfolio view.

Feel free to check it out and book a live demo at https://teamboard.cloud/teamboard-demo-request/ or drop an email to atlassian@devsamurai.com, we're support 24/7.

Hi @Kedareswar ,

Trust you are well.

Please check the Roadmap/Milestones features of Release Management App. Here you can

  • Plan milestones for your Releases/Epics
  • Track what is achieved or not?
  • Automatically achieve by moving to certain status
  • Outline on roadmap, also reschedule on roadmap with drag and drop
  • Color code according to progress status, etc.

Feel free to schedule a demo session below:

.. to go over use case  in details.

Cheers,

Yuri.

Hi @Kedareswar,

A potential solution for your need could be our Great Gadgets plugin. It offers a Release Burndown Burnup Chart gadget that can be used to display project burndown, cross-team or cross-project burndown or epic burndown etc.

This plugin lets you display milestones for various percentages of the timeline (25%, 50%, 75% etc) so you can see the overall progress.

If a milestone has been achieved, its label will be displayed in green-color, otherwise it will be displayed in red-color (as in the example above).
