I am having some trouble trying to find the best possible workflow for the workflow at my office. My main issue is I would like some way for a user to check out or place a project in progress. Currently I only see that once a project is created it is always 'active' unless closed or delivered.
My target workflow:
Create project / assign project -> In development -> <- In Review -> Test -> Final Review -> Deliver.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You can't really have workflow for projects in JIRA, but you can use the above information to create something really similar.
