I've read older posting regarding subtask security level; but, was hoping maybe someone had a plugin or someway of being able to set the security level on a subtask that is different from the parent.

We want the parent to be open to everyone because it has basic information; but, we need some of the subtasks to be more restrictive; thus, we want to set it to something different than the parent.

Has anyone found a way to do this or know why JIRA doesn't consider an improvement to provide this option. I've read several valid use cases (our is that the employee profile is open, but their training, education, and performance information, all related, is to be secured).
