Subtask resolution is "Unresolved" even though subtask status is "Done" and parent ticket resolution is "Fixed".

My subtasks are all marked with status of "Done" and the parent ticket is status "Done" and parent ticket resolution is either "Resolved" or "Fixed" but the subtasks persist as "Unresolved".  SO, SO, SO many subtasks with this issue.  How do I flip the resolution from "Unresolved" to "Resolved"??

It sounds like the workflow for sub-tasks don't go through a transition that allows or automatically sets the resolution field when going to Done. you need to change that

A sub-task's status and/or resolution is independent of it's parent status and/or resolution.

As Joe and Andrea said, it sounds like you have a workflow issue. Once you fix the workflow you'll also probably need to do a bulk update to correct the subtasks that are Done but don't have a resolution.

You could use the bulk edit facility to do that. You'll just need a JQL query to give you a list of all the relevant subtasks.
