Hi All

I want to set-up sub-components on jira.

I know that the greenhopper provides this feature to add sub-components. I have an older version of greenhopper. Can anyone suggest me from which grenehopper version this feature was introduced.

Also, do we have any workaround in Jira to implementing sub-components. I am aware that labels can be used to keep track of sub-components.

How about using the cascading select csutomf field for the subcomponents. And you may try using some javascript to show/hide the subcomponents based on the selected components.

Also using the JIRA Multi Level Casacade Select custom field you can implement the component heirarchy.

Hello Rahul, There is a plugin also available which implements subcomponents in Jira even without GrenHopper: http://brokenbuild.net/subcomponents-for-jira/ Regards, Vasiliy
