Sub-Task: Teams Portfolio field with Kanban filter

Sean Midkiff February 14, 2020

I've noticed a strange issue and wondering if anybody else has any advice or if they've experienced the same issue.

We have a few projects using the Teams field (Portfolio standard field) in their Kanban project to filter their issues based on the team in the project. They keep noticing their sub-tasks disappearing, which I found is related to the teams field.

What i've determined is the sub-task is showing the parent value in the UI, but not actually saving the value to the sub-task which is causing it to be filtered from the Kanban board. If you edit the sub-task and save, then it shows in the kanban board (I assume saving the value in the back-end).

Has anybody else experienced this? was there a resolution? Right now I've been urging those experiencing this to use the Labels field and use that on the Kanban filter.
