Story field does not appear on Board for Jira item

I have added a new project to an existing Jira Agile Board query. Odd thing is that the story field can not be seen in the Plan view. When I display an item from the new project, there is no story field that I can update in the Jira Agile window or in the standalone view. The workflow scheme of the new project is the same as other existing projects in the Jira Agile Board from which I can access story points field.

Any ideas you can share?
