Store or convert custom field value as text

I am trying to save the "updated" date field value to another field as text to display it as a version.

I tried to do this by copying updated field value to text customfield but it dispays as DD/MM/YY hh:mm. I am trying to display it as DDMMYYhhmm or even add a static text in front like: [text]-DDMMYYhhmm.

Any ideas?

One thing you could do is use the "Message Custom Field" from the tookit plug to display it however you want..

Thanks Michael, it seems like there is a bug for that field not displaying for version 6.0.x and later
