Ever since we updated JIRA to version 6.1.5, the state of the "Status" field is missing when viewing the issue details page.
If you go to the URL
http://jira.website.com/browser/PROJ=123<br< a="">>
The column for "Status" doesn't show
Status: Bug (View Workflow)
but rather
Status: (View Workflow)
Bug is a generic term. One can search on status, but does not appear on the page. The issue can go through the workflow. Everything is fine, just status doesn't appear on the page.
What happens when you go into the list of status (in the admin screens) and look at the status that isn't appearing?
Is it JUST the issue view where it doesn't appear? What about the navigator?

No. The value is not in the html
<span id="status-val" class="value"></span><span class="status-view">(View Workflow)

Ugh, definitely a bug of some sort then. Does the status come out if you search for issues and have an issue-navigator view that includes it? Can you actually search for the issue by status? Can the issue be moved through the workflow (does it at least offer you the option)?
By the way, in your example, you said "Bug" was a status - that looks a little odd to me. Was it just a handy word to use?

That's an interesting problem - is it all status showing that, or just one? Is there no icon there at all?
Could you examine the plan html of the page to see if there's anything there at all?

It's not a real url for their system - he's changed it to avoid leaking information.
