Start and end dates on a sprint after created?

Mats Kallmyr December 20, 2017

I have start and end date on sprints (e.g. Sprint 1) and later tried to set date in some sprints (Sprint 2 + 3) but the field to enter dates do not exist.

What to do? Please note below attached screen dumps!

Hi Mats,

Those date values are set on starting a sprint only.

Should you really need to specify these dates in advance, you may enable Parallel Sprints feature, in order to be able to start more than one sprint at once.

Regards.

Just want to be clear wich dates the sprint including. So only for not have any missunderstandings of the range of the dates...

Then I'd suggest to include the expected date ranges in the Sprint Names.

That is of course possible, but dont you think this is a "bugg" or miss in the Jira program? Sounds strange to just have the possiblity to add a date at the start and not possible to update later.

That's indeed an important feature and it is covered by plugins like Portfolio or BigPicture.

Some teams like to work 'agile' planning just one or two sprints ahead, so that's not a problem for them.
