Sprint Planning

Joe Harmon October 31, 2017

I have been doing some reading on sprint planning for JIRA and there seems to at one time have been a "plan" button.  I am not seeing it on my instance of JIRA (7.4).  Is this something that went away?

No, there's never been a "plan" button on sprints.  You go to the backlog, put the right issues into a sprint and start it.

Ack, sorry, I've always thought of that button as being called "backlog", because that's where it takes you.

Did this go away in later releases?  I assume so since I don't see it in 7.4.

No, it's just called "backlog" now instead.  Probably because no-one ever called it "plan", just "backlog"
