If we have a company-managed Jira project with multiple teams (each with their own board) all sharing the same Sprint (the Sprints are set at the project level), it looks like Sprint Insights on each team board is providing data for all teams using that Sprint. Is there a way for Sprint Insights to only show insights/information specific to that team/board?
Hi @Saboe, Dave , if each team has their own unique board meaning the issues only appear on a single board then each team would have its own sprint, and thus the insights would be unique to each team and board.
Hi @Jack Brickey Thanks for your response. Each team doesn't necessarily have it's own sprint. You can have multiple teams/boards sharing the same sprint. I've done that at two of my prior organizations. Example: At the project level, you create Sprints A and B (with a project level board). You have two teams (Team X and Y) each with their own board. Both teams can assign a work item to Sprint A and it's considered the same sprint. I just tested it and Sprint Insights provides insights for everything in the project sprint regardless of team/board.

If you have a single sprint insights will reflect singularly. Sprint insights is associated to the sprint.

Jack,
it is strange. I have the same situation, multiple teams using a board, however they do have individual sprints. However the insights filter is somehow not picking up on that, and is pulling tickets with different sprints into the sprint metrics.
Is this a bug? Is there a way for me to update the filter?

Quick update in case this helps anyone in the future. Thank you Jack for your help, you are right.
The sprint is the determining factor for what is displayed in the insight metrics. Our issue seems to have been a bug that somehow mysteriously resolved itself. Isn't technology fun..lol?
