Few users in JIRA are facing this issue when they try to login into JIRA.- Invalid Username/password though the credentials are correct.The following error was observed in logs.
2016-05-09 00:26:08,472 http-bio-443-exec-83226 anonymous 26x5183900x1 8is443 10.125.141.19 /login.jsp login : 'sshek742' tried to login but they do not have USE permission or weren't found. Deleting remember me cookie.
JIRA is using CROWD for authentication which in turn is connected to external LDAP.
Are they in the right groups for access? Enabled? Are you giving the synchronisation type to catch up with new users etc?
Yes.They are in right groups and two users among them have admin access too.
They are facing this issue once in a while.

Nope.No synchronisation errors or warnings with crowd/ldap. The only error I could in logs is

Ok, those are the JIRA logs, and that's not showing any errors. Next thing to look at is the Crowd and LDAP logs.
