Special pie chart question

Rumceisz June 24, 2014

Hi All,

we use pie chart in our project which show the issues according to labels. More specifically we have 10 labels we are interested in in this pie chart. We did the filter according to this condition. But the problem is that most of the affected issues have many labels on them. For example we want to see the number of all labels have "Important-" in their name. I filtered the issues according to this. But many issues have other labels to next to "Important-A".. e.g. "desktop", "coffepotte" etc.

The main problem that it affects on the pie chart: the pie chart shows all the labels found in the filtered issues. So we see not only the "Important-A", "Important-B", "Important-C" labels but the others too in the chart.

I know that we should handle this "Important-" label in a custom field but we cannot to do so anymore.

Could you suggest a workaround for this?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Rumceisz,

Would it be possible for you to restrict your labels on the filter used by the Pie Chart?

For instance, you may add the text in bold to the filter (including the labels you want in the chart only):

<Your Filter> AND labels in (Important-A, Important-B, Important-C, ...)

Cheers,

Danilo

Hi Danilo,

we did it so and we result all issues containing one of these labels. The problem is that when we insert it to pie chart then all the other labels were displayed.

Good question!
Would be great to have an opportunity to filter labels we don't need in the chart.
