Smart commit command is not work

A. Qahar Mudzakkir November 24, 2012

I try to resolve and close issue through github commit but it fail to work. The issue_key is linked to Jira Issue perfectly, but the command isn't work.

This is step I do:

  1. I already linked my JIRA and Github account. Succeed.
  2. Started to commit with issue_key and command. All shown up in the activity, but the command isn't work.
  3. I check Mail on github account, then add new mail as used on Jira at Github and set is as default.
  4. Testing another commit with issue_key and command.
  5. The commit message is shown on activity tab. issue_key is properly linked to the issue, but the command isn't work (#resolve / #close)

Hi Qahar,

One more thing to check is your Email account in your Git client from the computer you are committing from. It must match your JIRA Account Email for the smart commit to go through.

Hope this helps.
