Slack Integration with JIRA

Hi ,

We are using JIRA 6.1(server) in our organization. and we wanted to integrate Slack with JIRA. Can someone provide the steps for the integration? 

I referred https://slack.com/apps/A0F7YS3MZ-jira-server-alerts provided in one of discussion in this community only. But I didn't find any steps here.

I've found two ways to integrate with slack.

First one - is just a simple JIRA plugin that catches JIRA events and posts info about them in slack channel. Something like you've found

Second is smarter - you have to install both plugin in JIRA and plugin in slack https://slack.com/apps/A0H95LXCH-jirio-jira-slack-integration and it allows you to work with JIRA ticket directly from slack: create / modify / comment / run transitions, etc.

I'd recomment you to try second - Jirio.
