Single user migration from one AD account to another

I have a user thats been using Jira thats linked to an incorrect AD account.  The two AD accounts are the same name however in two different groups.  Is it possible to move the user to the other AD account whilst retaining everything they have commited to Jira?

Thank you for the reply, I heard you can edit users in the database, would this be fessible instead of in Jira itself?
