Single User Picker field based on Roles

Hi Guys

Here is my requirement;

I have single user picker field, would like to set the values from a project role.

For Example, if the field name is ‘Dev Assignee’, only users from the project role ‘Developer’ should be able to be dev assignee. Is there any work around to achieve this ?

Fyi, I use JIRA 5.1.3.

Hi Vishnu,

you should try the Plugin User Group Picker, it's free and should serve your cause. I tried it a few months ago and it worked well, dooing exactly what you are asking for.
