Show me epics where all linked issues are Done - without a Jira add-on

I want to see all epics where all of the linked stories, bugs etc are Done. Then i can bulk update these epics and apply various comments, status changes etc.

Lots of other articles suggest that (paid-for) Script Runner is required to do this. This seems like such a basic product management task to want to perform - will Jira 8.x honestly not provide this?

With Jira JQL you only have access to issues and their fields, not the values of the linked (or children) issues.

ScriptRunner and other plugins (maybe you can find someone that is free, for instance, i naven't tried "SQL+JQL Driver: Transform JQL into SQL" but seems that could work for you) add functions to JQL that allow you to filter based on the values of related issues.

Hope somebody gives you a solution without plugins, but not very confident of that
