When issues are in progress, I want the customer & internal users to see different statuses.
Customer will see "In Progress" while the Internal User will see "In Review, In Development, QA Testing"
Then both customer & internal user will see "In Client Review", which is when the client can approve or deny the fix.
Is this possible to do?
In JIRA you can toggle the transitions of workflow based on conditions but you can't toggle the workflow status.
My suggestion to you is to use seprate issueTypes for customer and internal teams and then creation of customer requests leads to creation of linked issueTypes belonging to the team having a separate workflow.
