Shared test session participants unable to raise issues

I created a test session for our group. Our team was succesfully able to join the test session. However, they can not raise issues. They do not see the More Actions button and the only option for them is the Notes section.

Are we missing a permission or creating the session incorrectly? Seems pointless to have participants that can not add issues to the session.

Did you make sure the session was started? A test session has a workflow and issues can only be raised once it is started. As the creator of the session you can do this from the JIRA Capture browser plugin tool. Under the Session tab hit the play symbol that appears once you hover over the selected session.

Yes, indeed the session was not started. We had to close down another open session to start this one. Not sure I like only being able to have one open session when we use them for features/releases.
