Several logins per hour

Simon Bauer November 27, 2014

Hi,

we're using JIRA for internal ticket / time management and so on. Currently we have 49 active JIRA users and we are hosting JIRA 6.3 on our own server.

However, since a few weeks, some members of our company are forced to type their login credentials into a pop up every few minutes or so (they have to re-logon).

Strange thing is, that this only happens with a specific user group within our company.

Has anyone ever experienced something like this before? Any ideas how to fix this problem? I tried deleting the login tokens but that didn't help...

Do you also have any other Atlassian applications within your company? It could be because of this issue: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/User+is+Constantly+Logged+out+of+JIRA

Do they go through any kind of a proxy? And is it possible that the proxy is modifying headers?

Are users managed through JIRA? Or are you connected to Crowd? LDAP? AD?

Thanks for the answer. I'll check that link out! We're using JIRA, Confluence and Tempo (maybe also Service Desk in the future). All users are connected to our AD. The JIRA Server is located in one of our datac enters but the strange thing is, that the login problems only appear at one specific user group within our company...
