Hello,
Lately we decided to use the Contact Admins form in JIRA.
However, it is not immediately clear to whom these mails go. The group jira-administrators seemed the most obvious, and it seems to be so indeed. (perhaps this can be made clear somewhere?)
However, isn't it possible to have these mails be sent to 1 address (e.g. adminjira@somedomain.com)?
This would be much better for us, since not everyone in that group is the 'same kind of admin', i.e. a couple of people need some rights from that group, but don't need to receive all mails sent via the form.
In fact the 'contact administrators' is not so useful.
How about using an Issue Collector so that a project inside JIRA receives all the issues reported (and put that in the announcement banner in JIRA)? It makes life so much easy that you need not worry about emails coming in and tracking them separately. And you have full control over the notifications.

Btw, the docs clearly mention who will be notified using the 'contact administrators' form at https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Configuring+JIRA+Options
Thanks for the answer. Somehow I failed to find that info, indeed it can be found.
The suggestion is good, however in our case it'd only work with logged-in people. The form also works for people who are not logged in (which is what we need).
It remains a wish that this form could only send messages to one email address; or that it could be defined by JIRA admins; alas.

Issue Collector can work for non-logged in users also.
