Service Desk reports does not work

I am familiar with jaspersoft and am using Jaspersoft Studio Professional right now since iReport Designer is going away and Studio replaces it.  I have made the data connection, created a report, and pasted the XML file into the the report section for service desk reports, which it accepted.  Now, clicking on my report inn the customer portal does nothing.  Please help as this is needed for a demo on Monday in order for any purchase.  Also, there is an error message regarding service desk version not supported.  I have the lastest version.  which one is supported?
