Service Desk Customer Portal - Ticket View Customization

Is it possible to customize the ticket view within the service desk portal?

We want to be able to display the Request Type on the ticket view as a read-only field.

At this time, they can only see an icon beside the title of the request, but they would need to know which type of request each icon represents (in the example screenshot above, the icon is an open book, which represents our 'Service' type of request, and we have 3 other request types)


Is it possible to customize this view in any way?

Hi Mel and welcome to Atlassian Community!

Currently, it's not possible to customize the customer portal in order to add more fields on the ticket or on the requests' page.
We have some feature requests suggesting the implementation of the ability to make those customizations:
- Add fields (view only) in Customer Portal
- Need more fields in the 'My Requests' view
- Change columns in Customer Portal

I've added my vote to this as well, but I'm really suprised that there are no options to configure the customer issue view already!

Hello together,

this ticket is still in "GATHERING INTEREST" so I can assume that Jira is still not planning to implement it yet.

I'm not familiar with this kind of feature policy. Can someone help me how we can vote for this issues mentioned above? We really need this feature for our customers.
