Server and URl change under Confluence and Jira

Hi All,

we are on to move the server under the Jira and Confluence and also the URL's will change. Zhe 2 application are linked.

What are your experiences? What can get wrong after the server move?

We have some ideas but maybe you have much more experiences in such cases.

Make sure the baseUrl is changed after the move. And ofcourse look at configurations like Apache, firewall rules etc and change the url if applicable. Another place is proxyName in the server.xml (again, if applicable).

You should also change the application links from other integrated apps to use the new url.
